Hey check this story out. Out totally incapable designers over in England just proposed that we use the dedicated firemain pumps as the seawater toilet flush pumps. This was their proposal to DNV and USCG. Just figured I'd let you guys in on another jacked design idea.

Ok, so this makes me look like a bit of an ass for not planning things better, but after talking to Kate and Dahl these last couple nights, I think that maybe the trip to Webb would be better off another time. Dahl's last soccer game is Saturday and Kate (who is really pretty much one of the only people left at Webb that I care to see) is busy Friday and Saturday night at home. Besides Doug and now maybe Gram will be in Florida. Maybe for those in CT that wanted to get together you would want to come up for a halloween party Friday night, but otherwise I think the get together from the Boston perspective will have to be delayed until sometime later this winter. Sorry to all who I got excited about going back to the institute.

I am up for the trip to the webb, but I may have to back out as there is a chance I will be working this weekend. The boss is in Lauderdale now and will only be back monday & tuesday before heading to europe for 2.5 weeks and we need to get some stuff ready for him before he leaves. Hopefully we can get it done by friday and I can head down, but I can't make any promises at this point in the week.

I'd be lying if I claimed I had something better to do this weekend; I'll come along for the ride.
If you are fool-hardy enough to try the spaghetti or chili, you really should add some form of garlic or onion.

Can't make this weekend at Webb, I'll be in Ft. Lauderdale at the boat show. Have fun if you guys go and Constable, have a pitcher at the Idiot for me.

I am up for a trip back to Webb especially if it involves the Village Idiot. I don't have to work friday, so I could meet anybody up there on friday night. That is unless the carpool is going to come pick me up.
I also thought I would let everybody know that completed my first bar crawl last weekend. While I never actually ended up crawling, I did have quite a bit of fun and met a lot on interesting people. The only bad part about it was the dent it put in my wallet. All of you other New England slackers make up your minds about this weekend.

Congtatulations Dave! I didn't realize your hot sister was pregnant. I wonder if I am the father? Just Joshin Ya! Hope all is well down under.
Well Karyn, I guess I would be interested if people are going down. Let me know. Nick, Cristine, Pod, I will be heading through your region to get down there so if you guys are going we should carpool. I assume Doug will be around. I think Constable should be able to get up for that too. If he isn't too busy with his roommates. In fact, bring them along.
Catch you on the flip side.... Hey Bruno, finally finished the CD's and will mail them out beginning of the week. Just have to go to the post office for a proper envelope if we don't have one in the office.

Who's up for a C '02 get together the weekend of Nov. 1st at Webb? I hope the New England crew will all want to join in so that half the class can hang out again. We could all car pool in that direction.
The Balzer went to the junk yard today after I found my antifreeze leak last weekend. I was driving the car up 95 to be sold and all of a sudden noticed a HUGE green puddle on the floor of the passenger side. Guess it was somehow leaking into the car while the system was pressurized-no wonder it smelled funny. Good news is some parts of it will live on as I donated lots of the electronics to Rob's lab at MIT. Looks like I get to write it off too. Poor baby is now in the hands of some Roxbury jabrony.

Alright kiddies... Congrats to all the class ladies... with all this marriage talk... I'm a little curious: Which one of us guys will be sacrificed on the altar of womanhood first, eh? Anybody seeing anybody? Is there life after Webb afterall? There's lots of eye candy down here, but that's about it.

As I found myself up at the institute this past Saturday night for some beer, I came across a game of thumpers in the pub. I just wanted to let everyone know that "I'm f---king Constable" with a table humping motion and Nick's monkey sounds with a certain hand gesture are still regulars in the pub at Webb.

I would like to announce my own imminent nupitals. Her name is Svetlana or, as I like to call her, Bob's Discount Bride #4387. Rumors that she dated Merritt just before she met me are false, but it is possible that Brandon has met her and has her card.
Congratulations to all of you who didn't have to pay $99.95 plus freight to get engaged

YEY Jackie YEY! I'm soooo excited! See, us '02 girls have things in common besides puking in class and passing out on field trips (though we seemed to have MASTERED those two, especially the former). BTW, my current wedding booze count is at 1 keg, 1 case (keg is via Doug for world series bet and case is via Jax for my bet with her she was gonna date Drew). If I keep on making good bets like this I'm gonna have one hell of an open bar.

If we can carpool up there and share the driving a bit, I might be willing to drive up...also could see about flights. It would probably have to turn into a 4 day weekend if we are driving up, but anyway. Of course, I might prefer a place a little closer to home. On the other hand, the skiing there looks sweet, and the prices are right due to the excellent exchange rate. Keep the ideas coming and I will see if I can work it out.

Corey,
I'm arriving Thursday night Oct 31 at like 1030pm and staying till Monday Nov 4 like 8am. I don't know where I'm staying....either with 01ers, Mazra, or some relatives. Preferably one of the first two. Unfortunately the LI chicks got nothing on those women on the strip down there, plus black pants are too warm for the weather and I don't think LI girls travel that far from their cell phone service, so none are coming with me. Where are u gonna be that weekend, in a hotel? Can you wander or are u at a booth? Anyways I'm sure I'll see ya down there.
I might be willing to fly for an extended weekend in Montreal, but I'd have to check prices, one way of course as the medivac chopper will provide the travel home when I break my neck. It may be affordable after all.

Here's a couple of responses to a couple of people:
1) It just seemed like Gram got enough crap for his foot disappearing into his mouth during our time at the Institute. Plus we only get 25MB of space.
2) Sounds to me like a long weekend ski trip would be a better option for a couple of people. That would be alright with me - what do you long weekenders think about driving all the way to Tremblant?
3) Damn straight I'm going to the boat show! DUG are you staying with some '01-ers or in a hotel or what? How long are you staying? You bringing any of those hot Long Island ladies I miss so much?
Finally, thanks for all the compliments on the site, but it is all the posts that make it worth a damn so give yourselves a pat on the back for creating something kick ass.

I would go on extended weekend ski trip as I don't get vacation time this year.
Who is going to the Ft. Lauderdale boat show? I'll be there hopefully I'll see some of you guys there.

Well, Congratulations Jax.
Hey Constable, now that you are moved in, how about some pics.....maybe your two roomates in some BIFE-male action.
Bruno, as much as I would love to, I have no vacation time and really can't take another week this winter (already going to mexico with my pops). Of course, if it falls through and a long weekend is planned within driving distance, I am there in an instant.

OK, I think I need to defend myself a little. But first, congrats to everybody who is getting married. Anyway, Karyn blamed me for her car but, I do have to say if we did not hit that WV Golf she might not have gone out and bought one. Plus that was my second car accident of the day and I only take credit for one in DC. I moved into my new place this weekend and will be residing there for the next year or so. If anybody comes thought DC, we have an extra room.
Corey, I was wonder why Gram doesn't have any hits on the Book Of Shame?

I'll chime in too - all the best for Jackie and Drew!
In other news, I've been cooking up a bit of a plan for an '03 '02 ski trip. Here's what I've got so far: due to exchange rates, reputation, and proximity to the Northeast, I started focusing on Mont Tremblant as the most favorable destination for a ski trip. Depending on how much you drink and how diligent you are about saving your receipts for VAT refunds, this trip would be around USD 450 for a week. That includes everything but travel to Montreal - which from Boston by air is $256 - and staying nearly slopeside in a condo with a kitchenette and room for 8. I'm trolling for interest before I proceed, but once I get an idea of who's in then we can try and set up an agreeable week and maybe look into a package deal through the resort. So, get out your vacation calendars and fire up MS Money and see what would work for you, and let's try to get a trip together. If you are the least bit interested please let me know because at this flexibility is our ally.

Well, its official for me now too. I met this amazing girl, shes like 2' tall, nice shape, silver highlights, got this great nipple and you can pump her all night long. Perfect women. She even loses weight as the night goes on. She never complains when you beat her, kick her or throw her, nor does she have any demands, really a great girl. I don't think she's been at Webb before but I know here sisters have, they look very similar. I will take her name in marriage, so I will be Mr. Budweiser.
Of course the wedding will be in Vegas and you are all invited. And guys, you are all set, her sisters will be there and they all put out. Engaged girls can get with them too, for some BIFEmale action. Its gonna be an awesome time.

Well, it's absolutely official now. I have agreed to become the next of the Webb-Webb couples forever. Drew has asked me to marry him, and I of course said yes. (After bawling all over his shoulder. On two different occasions.)

Christine, if you're missing the Natty you should head down this way. I found a pub that serves $4 pitchers of Natty on Thursdays I think. Definately all over that crap. Also, free booze+old bitches+$$$=Tooker, thats the easiest math I have ever seen. I'm there just let me know. Karyn, nice wheels, is it tricked out or what? You be pushin the turbo 6-speed? Anyways, congrats on the new ride, Dave too. Are you sure it was Constable the ruined your Blazer, you know Dahl's up there in Boston, was the truck flipped?
As much as Corey is down right sweet for putting this site together, my nod stays with Constable for arranging the living as he did.....especially if they are B-I-F-E males if you know what I mean, that would be AWESOME. Also Constable, watch out for that Sniper thats some sick shit
Good to hear from everyone and keep postin notes.

One more note while we are still setting things up: If people want their contact info removed, changed, limited, expanded, emailed to everybody in Tinidad & Tobago, or whatever please let me know via email and I'll take care of it ASAHP.
If you want to post a picture (Dahl: I am not posting you mooning everybody on the internet so don't ask.) then email it to me, I'll post it and provide you with a link so that it will show up on this page. We have a ton of space so don't be shy about pictures or other media. I have even considered putting up a ZIP of some interesting software that we may or may not have borrowed from the Institute.
Finally, a note from the new Web Nazi. Tripod does have final authority over this site, so please don't push your (our, really) luck by posting that funny funny joke you heard that uses all 7 of the forbidden words. I don't think an occasional curse or off-color remark is going to offend any of us or any of them, but I don't want to see this site taken down, nor do I want to spend my lunch hours policing it.
Thanks for participating and let's have some fun.
