Well guys, save the date - my wedding will be Sunday 8/10/03 in Delaware. I know Sunday is kind of a pain in the ass, but that's what slow planning gets you. There will be three hour open bar, dj, and lots of old Italian women for Tooker and anyone else who's in the market. Doug you can tell your mom that it will be in a Methodist Church and will be blessed by a catholic preist. More details will surely follow. Hope you all had a great holiday!

You know, it is just too bad that I am not more creative and witty, Constable I am sure there are a multitude of great ways to make fun of you for asking why West Virginia is such a great state, most of which involve your older sister. Jax, I just wanted to thank you for the great sarcasm, that was a real head slapper. As for Joe, I think he is doing the middle aged women of America a great favor (as far as ego boosting goes). I hope some 22 your old wants to shoplift my pooty when I am 40. Right on!

Why is it that West Virginia is such a fun state? It seems every time I go there, I have a blast and come back with tons of hilarious stories. Jason falling in a ditch, Dug burning his shoes, lesbian camps, and so on. Well last weekend, I went to WV to ski for the weekend. We were invited to a party at one of the yokel’s houses. When we showed up we found 4 people sitting around a bond fire, burning their furniture and drinking a keg of ICEHOUSE. Anyway, it was still a fun weekend.

Dahl, its nice to see that you are still alive. Hope to see ya at Killington.

Hey Dug, are you coming to DC this weekend.

You know what we all collectively forgot over the weekend? Merritt's birthday! I'm sure he celebrated in high style, probably with some hot Swedish ladies. Happy Birthday Mert!

So Doug, what you're saying is that Joe is "Shoplifting the pooty"?? (jerry macguire anyone?)

Hey I finally got this damn thing to work. What's this about Killian...I mean Killington?
    posted by Jason 11:24 PM

Sorry, people, Petrie's still at Webb and pissing some off even more than before. Apparently he's tried to put on the front that he didn't know abt underage drinking at Webb. Yeah, right, and I'm a virgin.

As for winter, I haven't seen the snow you all got on the East Coast (just missed that - flew back frm Thanksgiving the day before it hit, I think...), but I've got good ol' Midwestern cold... For the past week and a half the HIGH hasn't been abv 25 (often even less). And the lows...if any of you were watching the Packer game last night, it was CHILLY - abt 5 degrees on the field. I'm wondering why I wanted to come back...

Got a hint for you all, too. Don't put a soda can next to your computer when you're as klutzy as I am. Let's just say there was a little accident last Thursday... Laptop's going back to Compaq to get a new keyboard installed, and I have to figure out how to study for exams w/o a computer. It's not going to be pretty.

Count me in too for Killington. ttfn
    posted by Gram 6:55 PM

Alrighty - as far as I know Petrie is still at the Institute...he's only an "ex-prof" relative to us. Didn't mean to cause so much excitement. Ryan, I know this will come as a crushing blow to you, and I am really really sorry. And believe it or not, "business up front, fun in the back" didn't come up.

Here is a Joe Tooker update. I spoke with Joe last night and you'll be happy to know he hasn't changed. He is still fishing, and apparently whether or not its NY or Florida, everything seems to be "so right". On the woman front Joe has been pretty active, currently dating a 32 year old woman, who btw has a kid. I don't know is a 32 yr old with a kid beats a 40 year old, the age of the previous girl he was seeing. Unfortunately he is working his butt off (70hr weeks) but he assured me that he will still only doing half ass jobs similar to the work he did at Webb.

I'm going to look up rates up at Killington for that weekend. Hey Constable, get your roomates to come too, and Nick bring the few good looking EB girls.

Yeah, what's up Karyn? I do miss the snow. It's always good times. Summer is all well and good, but season changes are badass. How's beantown treating you?

Sean: 85 is only the beginning and I'm pretty sure it doesn't get below 50 here either. If you have extra rainfall send it on down... Highways have all been closed around Sydney because half of the metropolitan area has been on fire. Bushfires suck.

Doug. Word. Slapping of course. Big Christmas party tonight. Wahoo. Ladies will abound. A piece of wisdom for everyone... Even if there is no commitment expressed... don't let them know about each other... Catfights = N.G. (no good) >=)

Corey, last I heard from Tooker he was doing great. If you email he is usually pretty quick with the reply.

You guys all take care. If you get together for skiing or whatnot, have a beer (or six) for me too. Just try to keep the BAL below .3.... or else the SO Nazi might get you for it.

Ex-professor?! Well, there goes my hope of a bloody coup...
Was he asking for a job, or better yet, some spare change? Did you manage to slip "business up front, fun in the back" into the conversation?

How do you get a 0.3 blood alcohol level anyway? Was there a funneling Everclear chamber?

Sorry Dave, you lose; 85's a wee bit chilly for the summer. Try a low in the 50's in the winter, and about 1 hour of rainfall since I moved here in August.

Speaking of infernal combustion engines, anyone want to buy mine? I've decided that as long as I have one, it would be better attached to a pair of wings than a bunch of wheels.

I'm with Dave on this one. It's in the mid 70s here and I'm going biking tomorrow. And what the hell? Everybody else has snow, is going skiing, and Constable even got stuck! I've got four-wheel-peel on my truck, fine new tires, don't even need steam notes in the trunk and there's not 7 inches of snow within 1000 miles. Sonsofbitches. Constable, you should have just put in low gear, eh! Like winter driving conditions don't ya know?

Speaking of sonsofbitches, who the hell has heard from Tooker? Any word on how he's doing, what he's doing, how big the fish were, just how right it really was?

Now on a totally unrelated note, guess who I talked to this morning? George Petrie! Ha HA! Chow on that! Who needs winter when they have washed up ex-professors calling? I figured Ryan would probably be super jealous so I thought he ought to know about it.

Finally: good sweet Lord, Karyn. Maybe Nick could set you up with a model to work on or something because you have wwwwwway to much time on your hands.

I had 8" of snow on Thursday and still had to go to work. However only 7 or 8 of the 40 people in my building showed up. Consequently, very little work got done. In fact, I went out to lunch with some people and we got stuck in the snow on the way back. We had to get pulled out. All in all, it turn into an hour and 45 minute lunch break. God bless Gov't jobs. I just hope I get to keep my, I sank the model twice this week.

Dug, I am totally up for skiing.

And a note to you all, see what happens when a Nazi doesn't run the S.O.

No worries on the dry campus thing. If Webbstock is dry then we'll just have to head out to the Hamptons a day earlier and drink out there. I talked to Ben about it yesterday, he said the campus will be dry until they can convince Ron that they "deserve" to drink. Good luck with that but I can't imagine it lasting too long, business at Charlies apparently has doubled.

Dave, good to hear from ya how are all the ladies down there? Any slappin' goin on?

Anybody down for a trip to Killington the first weekend in January, I may have a place where we can crash for a night but depends on the # of people. Let me know.

This came right out of the dictionary: "steatopygia : An excessive development of fat on the buttocks especially of females that is common among the Hottentots and some Negro peoples."

Just want to give a special what's up to Dave, I know you are missing this snow, don't deny your roots.

Hey Nick, all this snow makes me think about skiing. There is a big hill a block from my appartment. If we get going before 7:00 tomarrow I think we could have first tracks.....aren't you jelous Corey. Well, at least we got to drink at school. Sucks for the rest of them. Hope they get it figured out before Webbstock....otherwise I am bringing a camelback full of the hard stuff.

I tried posting this but I think I stuffed it up... it it goes twice, I apologize:

I just want to go on record having said that it was a DAMN good bonfire, too.... though the trunk idea isn't bad either, Nick.

I also want to go on record saying, "Enjoy the snow suckers. It's 85 and sunny down here."

Word I got from Posey suggests that as it stands, all social events, including the mighty Webbstock, will be DRY as well. ACK. I've got a great t-shirt idea if it happens:

"The party formerly known as Webbstock."

Happy Holidays, Yaaaameeeean.

its a sorry state of affairs when you have to see Webb have to revert to something like that.

Newsflash from outside the walls: if you were a tool like me and kept ALL of your tech and books from school there is now another use for them besides buring them last minute in Dave's bonfire. If you're like me and have just had 7 inches and counting of snow dropped on you and you also drive a rear wheel drive sled (although i just got new tires so it's not thhaatt bad), you can take all that potentially useful information and dump it in your trunk for additional weight during the winter months.

Newsflash from inside the walls: apparently after the little Chamber Party mishap, Webb will now be a dry campus until a suitable and enforceable alcohol policy can be put in place. I gathered from Munger that the mood there was pretty, uh, down. No news on how this affects Webbstock, though, so hope Tarantino & Co. can get things right before June.

That explains why I was so sick the morning I got off the boat. Laying on the floor with the bucket I must had just had that virus. Maybe if I had gone to get some pizza with Dahl and the Fat Chick I would have felt much better. Being sick was worth getting to hit on that hot chick though.
